I hold: ISTB, FLOT, BRS bond, CTL bond, BACPRL (very small position).

ISTB and FLOT are liquid positions to be sold if cash is needed. They are not cash equivalent though and ISTB has fallen this year (though roughly flat with payouts added).

BRS bond, CTL bond, BACPRL are not liquid and likely won't be sold if there's a crash.

There's pretty good thread on CoBF that talked about fixed income funds, though ultimately ISTB/FLOT are not bad choices (look for Ross812 postings on cornerofberkshireandfairfax.ca )
