The way I play this one is not really so complex. The herd mentality seems to prevail and there is obviously lots of stock trading. Mondays usually trade higher for most stocks. ABX is a winner regardless and, if one gets caught, they just hang in there. Basically, I am looking for a week to two week cycle here. By watching the Kitco graph and following the Gold Price Monitor thread started by Tom Becker, one can get a sense of what will affect ABX. That's about as simple as it gets, buy near a short term low and sell when one sees the negative stuff coming in (may be for a day or weeks). Patience pays off IMO. If one misses a top, well, say goodby. I try never to fall in love with a stock. Lately, I have been on the right side of ABX and am enjoying the ride.

Best regards,
Ron E
