Stupid is as stupid does. 3 rifles on rooftop. Unloaded, one disassembled. Hard to "snipe" that way. Only suggestion of "sniping" was made by Mayor Wheeler 2 months after the event, with no basis in fact. "A sergeant instructed the men to store the rifles in a locked container in the back of one of their pickups and place any ammunition in a different part of the truck, and they complied. Police made no arrests." All men had concealed carry permits. They planned to "act as a quick extraction team'' in case someone from their group was injured during the demonstration. Like what happened to this guy, who was protesting against them but injured by Antifa thugs. He brought an American flag to protest fascism in Portland.
