TopCat, I'm surprised you're surprised.... So many people want to live in alternate realities, it's quite alarming. Even Snopes accepts the notion that Fauxcahontas is Native-American because of 1/256 of her DNA. No one at Snopes is calling B.S. on this stupid-ass made-up-on-the-spot standard. No one at Snopes is publishing the rejection by the Cherokee nation of her claims. Even Politifact is claiming that the DNA results are "consistent" and "credible" with respect to her claims of being part Native-American. Really? Just 1/256 of her is Native. I have never seen a level of truth-twisting in my entire life. And this is going on with facts that we can easily verify as laypeople using Google (or whatever search engines you trust these days). Think about subjects that aren't so easily understood by a layperson, like climate science or economics or medicine. Objective truth is under attack, and the perps are blaming the "other side" for their own damned sins. Tenchusatsu
