The Roku, I’d give it a B+. The shut downs, about as frequently as I lose through-put on Internet (always have the bars, but sometimes nothing is getting through). I always envision some guy way upstream saying “hey we better reboot this server”. 3 minutes later all is OK.

But as a cutting the cable device I don’t think Roku makes it. I haven’t spent a lot of time looking through their own content... tons of it. But nothing I’m inclined to watch. It’s a great streaming device, my Charter Spectrum account is identical to the one hooked to the home TV, but I still have that home tv subscription cost. I guess if I had a regular TV in the studio I’d have to have another Spectrum box, with the cost.

Personally, I’d rather read a good book!
