I see that you probably discussed the "Migrant" post of mine with the Rat. The aspect of "Asylum" was, it seems, mentioned by the Rat. I believe what Hannity referred to in that video was "MIGRANTS". Now there is a BIG DIFFERENCE in the status of a MIGRANT and a REFUGEE, as explained in ..... habitatforhumanity.org.uk REFUGEES are people fleeing armed conflicts or persecution, and under International Law can seek ASYLUM. And that ASYLUM is generally sought and provided IN THE FIRST COUNTRY THAT THEY ENTER. That is one of the main reasons why "Refugees" from the Middle East, such as Syria, and from North Africa, were so keen to land on the shore of Europe. Because there are NO BORDERS between all the EU member states. So if they landed in Italy or Greece, etc, they could then move on to France or Germany, etc, etc... MIGRANTS choose to move not because of a direct threat or persecution but mainly to improve their lives by :- Finding work Seeking better education Reuniting with family Unlike refugees, who cannot safely return home, migrants can return home if they wish. This distinction is important for governments, "since countries handle migrants under their own immigration laws and processes." But, of course, "bleeding heart" liberals and the Extreme Left Wing do not want to make the above distinctions. If they had their way we would live in a "borderless" world .... And, of course, it always has to be about that "Cruel, Heartless" Donald Trump who doesn't want anyone from the south of America entering America. That, as we know, is the biggest LOAD OF F...ING CRAP !!! Trump has CLEARLY SAID ON SO MANY, MANY, MANY OCCASIONS, that what he wants is CONTROLLED F...ING IMMIGRATION !!! He DOES NOT WANT an Open, Porous border where America, as a sovereign country, CANNOT CONTROL who it lets into its country and who it doesn't. I really fail to understand why these F...ing Extreme Left Wing, moronic, imbecilic idiots are determined not to grasp that simple principle ....... And one last thing .... when are these Central and Southern American countries GOING TO SORT OUT THEIR OWN F...ING COUNTRIES so that thousands and thousands of their native born citizens DON'T have to bring their problems to America, and to also NOT HAVE TO look for a better life in America ??
