There is the saying "live and let live" You should tolerate the opinions and behaviour of others so that they will similarly tolerate your own. My problem with left leaning people, started on my early thirties I saw the kinds of behavior that lead to intolerance and politicization of everything. If a right wing guy is vegetarian he does not eat meat. If a leftist is, he wants to erradicate cattle, poultry and pork and force other to follow his/her eating preferences. If a right wing guy does not like the crap he sees on TV, he change the channel. If a leftist does not like what he sees, he wants government to intervene and censor the content he does not like. If a right wing is gay, he lives his life normally. If a left wing is gay, he goes out making parades, and want to show pride and want others to give them privileges based in their sexual preferences.
