Jane, I also sense that the rapture and the Day of the Lord is near. I recently found prophesy about 666 on the net and it said Pope John Paul 11 had recently affirmed the Papal title, "Vicarius Filii Dei" Meaning The Vicar of the Son of God which is said to be a blasphemous title due to the fact that Christ does not need a Vicar, and Heaven has not so designated any man this title. The name is now etched in the Papal mitre which every Pope wears. Using Roman numerals, the numerical equivalent to this name is "666." I realize John Paul is old and ill and he probably will not live much longer. I have read that the next Pope will come from the Order of St. Benedict and will reign during the beginning of the Tribulation. According to prophesy by St. Malachayin in year 1143 he spun prophetic messages about each Pope and they say his predictions have all been on the mark.
John Paul was called by him, "the labor of the Son. The next Pope was called the Glory of the Olive and the final Pope, according to Malachay will be called "Peter the Roman."
Malachay's final words were, "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church their will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people."
The destruction of this city is prophesied in Revelation 18.

Sounds creepy, doesn't it?

In Christ's name.
