Of course, the left HATES the word "nationalist." To them, it's the other N-word. Nope, economic nationalism traditionally has been the realm of the left and has been restricted only to trade issues. Trade unions often embrace protectionism and tariffs, to eliminate competition from cheaper labour from 3rd world nations. This is tRump's pet policy and he's hijacked the Democrats by adopting it. The traditional cons, like turtle brain, Cruz et al have held their nose, as tRump has cooperated with their other agenda: cutting taxes/bankrupting govt, killing the EPA, eliminating health insurance for poor people, SS/Medicare/Vetrans benefits etc.. We do hate "nationalism" when it's distorted to mean excluding brown people from the Nation... which is tRump's agenda... "Nationalism" to tRump also means making 'murica "white" again. BTW, the tRump crash is happening...
