Interesting post on AOL:

Here is a quick recap of my panic induced phone call to Darby Macfarlane, CCSI's CEO...

1. Her guess as to the cause of the price action the past few days is that a long time stockholder, someone who has been holding since '93 (in hindsight I realize this person must be an insider, since the co. has only been public since '95 I believe) and has a very large holding had informed her that they would be selling a portion of their holdings at the beginning of the year. The effect of this selling on a stock with a relatively small float and low daily volume is reflected in the recent downward pressure. She also mentioned that she was aware that some other large holders had received margin calls, causing some additional selling.

2. On the positive side...she said that there was absolutely nothing negative on the horizon, quite to the contrary actually (I know it's her job to say that). She basically said that the contract negotiations were going far better and faster than she expected. She was also very big on Frederick Frank and gave him credit for bringing some very impressive companies to the table. They already have several deals in hand and are just waiting to see who will go the highest. She also mentioned that a deal could "pop" suddenly if one of these co. were to step ahead of the others with a much better offer.

3. My interpretation (purely speculation), we may be closer than we had originally hoped. Something she said gave me this notion: "We are much closer this week than were last week". That combined with "pop" comment started me wondering on my way home from work today. This may just be the wishfull hopes of a guy whose average cost is in the $15 range. Oh well, can't wait to buy more tomorrow!

It's better not to respond. You are only helping to distract from the real purpose of the thread. Those who follow the thread know your contributions. Look at what's being done to the ALYD and TPRO threads, disgusting.
