I just stumbled across the figures for Sun Germany

- 30% increase in revenue for the quarter
- 25% increase in revenue for FY 98 expected
- market share for work stations 41,3% (next competitor HP 20,8%)

Not too bad for a stumbling economy ;).

Martin.

So lets understand the following:

Pain Webber upgraded Sun to a buy last September when the stock was trading at $46/shr. Then they downgraded it to hold/underperform when the stock hit $32. And now they have upgraded the stock to a buy when it is at $44.

Merril Lynch on the other hand had SUNW at a buy when it hit $50 (as compare to Pain Webber at $46) last September/October. They then downgraded it to neutral when the stock hit $35, and now they have upgraded it to a Buy again when it is at $44.

Well, one thing is for sure, when it comes to these con-artists, no man (no one) can outsmart them!!

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi

Does anyone know what is said in the conference call? Also, how much revenue comes from Java in the last quarter?

Thanks.
