be all over the board, and the sheer number of (often drastic) changes
indicates to me that they are scrambling for information.

I concur. It appears the analysts have very little visibility on INTC. INTC is held by so many investor they feel obligated to generate some number. Thus, no consistancy.

I believe INTC is also not giving a lot of guidance. Management is good and conservative. They like to avoid class action lawsuits.

We are all in the dark.
