It's not about last quarter, or last month. It's about next quarter and next month. And things are looking dicey (AMD, WDC, TXN, etc., etc.,)

I am glad you finally saw "the light". LOL
I get it now! Sales YoY were only up 13.8%. That is why the semiconductor stocks have to correct by 50% or more! It all makes sense now.
The semis have taken it on the chin again! With the last few months of price contractions against the rising revenue and earnings results, the "fix" is in. I "love" the analyst crowd. After the semis were up earlier in the year to rather high price valuations, the "buy" recommendations were plentiful advising higher gains. Now that prices are down around -10 to -50 percent(with revenue and earnings up), the analysts say it is time to "sell". Following the advice of the "experts" is a good way to achieve financial ruin.
