However, CPQ may have cut a sweet deal for the
Socket 7 offering which I believe Intel are not very
keen on selling now a days.

It could quite possible that CPQ knew it and
since there is still some left over for Socket 7,
why not K6. By 2Q, it could be quite possible that
80% new desktops will be Slot 1.
