<< Someone making money short doesn't mean I can't succeed long (and longterm). >>

Precisely why I don't usually go on and on about how COMS was down 1 1/4 or down 2 or whatever the case may be.

You don't have to be a short to make money on COMS. I'm sure there are some longs who made trades from 28 to 34 or 34 to 38 or whatever.

That's why I usually don't like to showboat around when the price drops a few points and I think it is funny when the longs get all riled up about a move upward for a few days. Of course there has to be a way of keeping score so that's why I made the prediction that COMS would see 25 before 45. I consider 35 the midway point, where below it I'm in the lead and above it the longs are winning.

I know there are some people out there who are thinking that it is juvenile and pointless to make COMS a contest, but what else are we supposed to do while we are waiting for COMS to make it's move? If we all just agreed that we are long-term investors who don't care about weekly or monthly prices than there would be nothing to discuss!

I just like a lively debate... (actually an outright battle)

<enjoying your short action vicariously>

I even learned a new word 'vicarious' by looking up the dictionary :
'felt or experienced as a result of imagined participation in the aciton or emotions of another'

In Craig's case - PAIN ??? <G> You see, longs AND shorts can lose money at the same time. We (long and short) are all in the same boat fighting the BIG guys.
