Excellent article in the financial post today regarding the new channels and the implications to companies like Rogers. Take up rates seem to be much lower than expected and could cause Rogers to spend approximately $50 million to install traps preventing people from continuing to receive the channels free. They are spending a huge amount marketing and it has been a disaster. I expect to see a mini uproar over some of the cable companies tactics. The only certain thing is that Rogers will be in the news alot in the next few months.
