Pierre - that's just the way I'm interpreting Dan's comment. Not sure if it is true. Tom

Revenues from joint venture

My understanding from the conference call from last quarter involved a change in the way Q and Sony split revenues from joint venture.

The joint venture manufactures all phones and sells to parties (Sony and Q) at wholesale price. Then both parties distribute phones to customers and reap rewards individually for what they sell. Therefore each receives the profit form jont venture and each makes additonal profit on the sale of phones to customers.

In addition, both parties are quaranteed their % of phones, that is Q 51% of prodcution and Sony 49%. However, if one party does not need all the phones they are guaranteed, the other can take that inventory at wholesale and sell, repeating the extra mark up.
