We do. Right now, entertainment and telco people are the ones in the know about the technology, and I'm sure none of them doubts SGI is a serious player.

If your point is, SGI's marketing should grab some mindshare by publishing SGI's role in digital TV -- different from some of the vapourware hype about the future of things from other companies without products-- I couldn't agree more with you.

I think many things have been said about past marketing from SGI on this forum...I'm sure you can read it all up (and some articles aobut Mediabase, Streamcaster, and lots of video stuff).

I'm not sure I would have reacted the same way. But then, I'd have called the local office, and they *are* very responsive -- as you can see, even for non-customers not in Belgium ;).

I have had reports of contacts going down the great bitbucket in the sky at SGI sales, but I'm sure we're not the only ones occasionally suffering from it. I also saw some other employees actually arrange for the local office to call someone after they had posted here :).
