SHYLOCK

To bait fish withal: if it will feed nothing else,
it will feed my revenge. He hath disgraced me, and
hindered me half a million; laughed at my losses,
mocked at my gains, scorned my nation, thwarted my
bargains, cooled my friends, heated mine
enemies; and what's his reason? I am a Jew. Hath
not a Jew eyes? hath not a Jew hands, organs,
dimensions, senses, affections, passions? fed with
the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject
to the same diseases, healed by the same means,
warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer, as
a Christian is? If you prick us, do we not bleed?
if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison
us, do we not die? and if you wrong us, shall we not
revenge? If we are like you in the rest, we will
resemble you in that. If a Jew wrong a Christian,
what is his humility? Revenge. If a Christian
wrong a Jew, what should his sufferance be by
Christian example? Why, revenge. The villany you
teach me, I will execute, and it shall go hard but I
will better the instruction.

One of the Most Famous banking families was the Rothschilds ....

The father, Mayer, taught his five sons the "Banking Business". When they "graduated" from his care he sent one each to Frankfurt, Paris, Naples, Vienna and London.

The brothers set up a very fast Communication system between themselves, because when you knew something before your competitors, or the stock market traders, you could make a "killing".

And that's exactly what Nathan Rothschild did from his base in London. He had his spot in front of a pillar in the London Stock Exchange and most traders on the floor used to carefully watch what Nathan bought and sold.

At that time there was a battle going on between Wellington and Napoleon at Waterloo. As a result of the "Rothschild's Communication Service", Nathan got to hear that Wellington was winning. So instead of buying "British Government Bonds" he started selling them as fast as he could. Needless to say, the rest of the Exchange took that to mean that Napoleon was going to win the battle, so everyone started to offload bonds ... Nathan waited until the right moment and then bought all he could at a "bargain basement" price and made a fortune once the news of Wellington's victory finally reached England .... Smart Guy .....
