Thean, good advice, never thought if that aspect.
I am curious regarding your current technical view.
I suppose it would still show this group in a downtrend
(from the highs anyway) What would need to occur to
establish a firm opinion of a trend change?

Thean..
<<ps, IRA will come after you too here on this board and they too belong to some sort of organization.>>
Did you mean the IRS? I sure hope that the Irish Republican Army isn't monitoring this board!!<g>
If so, we really should be a bit paranoid...

just got back from the FGII shareholdr's mtg.

Points of interest:
1. Proposal to increase authorized issue of shares passed by a 13 to 1 margin. No immediate plans to use new shares, but this gives them the flexibility in the future if needed.

2. FGII is consistently completing complex projects on time and on budget. This means something to their customers. A recent job was completed on time and below budget and the customer was so pleased they paid a bonus to the FGII employees.

3. Anytime you can control the "time" in which the customers get a project then you are in a very enviable position.

4. Howard Weil picked up coverage last week and might be another analyst covering soon.

5. Management will be doing a road show end of Jan.-Feb. to promote the co. to institutions, analysts, etc. Boston, NY, west coast.

6. management is picking and choosing their projects . No problem in competing in the world mkt. China, korea, Brazil etc. See a very stable future for the industry.

7. 500 million backlog currently.

8. Pascagoula yard opening on time in June , but will produce revenue in Feb. Will have 500 million revenue potential. More announcements soon.

9. Any acquistions will be accretive to earnings not dilutive.
