AGREE on that, I see too many trying to find an indicator to jusify the buy. Rather than finding a system that they trust and stick with it.

Hello Loren,

If you read the entire post you should see that my intent was to emphasize that using MACD (13-34-89) or Dahl to determine trend can be dangerous. I was NOT talking about their buy signals....

Dahl is LONG it's entire trip above 0 yet price may be moving in the right direction only half that time. If you are using Dahl for Trend, you just might get the wrong half.

Well, you're right, but I hope you were preaching to the choir.

What about Established trend? If the stock has moved up to your signal
and is in an established trend do you still pass?
