I don't know about those two cases. I myself have been banned by bentway on the Trump Presidency thread and then by epicure on the View from the Left thread. So moderators banned me, presumably because they prefer a left leaning echo chamber than true debate between center right and left. So are you saying the two people you posted about were banned by SI? Why did they get banned? Just curious. I've been on these threads since 1996 and like the balance they've achieved, so wondered if someone else has a different experience.
