You must have missed where I worked in the industry for many years. Yes, 5 years is a lifetime in the healthcare industry given how fast things change.

All that said, this is probably not helping anyone in terms of them making their own healthcare insurance decisions. Let's keep the discussion to answering Elroy's question or the ACA coverage question people have posted - rather than making it a debate about the healthcare industry or trying to scare people about chargemasters - which are simply list prices like any company has

As i mentioned in one of my earlier responses for Elroy- If someone doesn't want to buy insurance or is able to just buy a catastrophic plan off the exchange, they simply need to find a physician who offers self pay discounted rates
