Night Writer,

I don't think there is one....I think the INS is about to order at least $16 million of IDX equipment......Which would be 3 times larger than the largest order in the history of IDX.....It may never be announced because it may just be an extention of an existing 4 machine order from last year......Isn't that the way things go?

I think this is all about leverage. I will bet a cigar that Kessler gets a bunch of his information from this thread.........Kessler is a good guy...IMO....He is just tired of being a penny shy of every quarterly earnings estimate......I think he is frustrated with the same things we are......and he is really an "SGA as a percentage of sales" kind of guy. I'm not sure if he has fully evaluated the Sylvan prospects and I doubt that Fowler is willing to discuss what he feels about them. I think Fowler is very tight-lipped these days. Salomon has evaluated the "option" upside potential much better than Kessler......Anyone who has not seen the Salomon report on Identix, should.

I think the potential for the Sylvan/Identix franchise are huge. Identix can become the recognized name in the field....Very important....Huge leg up.

And all of this new attention from Wall Street firms is partly because they know that Identix is the only pure play, market dominant company in the field.....and that they smell investment banking or underwritting fees.

Identix must leverage their position. They can be the monster of biometrics with their technology, parterships, client base, and reputation. They need to grow and expand now. Ascoms shares need to be distributed to institutions for long term holding and intra-institutional trading. The institutions need more liquidity...more volume...more shares....The shares need to be taken away from the overhanging position that folks see them to be in. Identix does not want the shares to be sold in bulk....as they want to stay in control of their own company. Fowler needs to sell some shares.....and Identix needs expansion capital. The window is now. The competition is flat on it's back.

So if a secondary is on the way....(and we loyal IDX fans should welcome it for the reasons stated above) will the stock get strength from positive news before such an offering?.....or should the folks who buy the new shares get a smokin deal? What is fair value? What are the Wall Street firms in favor of? How is this game played.

Identix has piles of things going....we know that. Why they are not more vocal about projects and prospects?.....That is just the nature of Fowler and the company. It is driving me nuts. I search the net for proof to comfirm....so that I can post.

Of couse this entire post is my opinion and I don't know nothin.......I just love this little company.......What day are earnings due out? So far we have Kessler at 2 cents and Skuza at 1 cent......I say 4 cents, surprised?
