Integrated Systems Inc. Supplies Operating System For Industry's First
Silicon with Embedded Networking

Osicom Chooses pSOSystem(tm) Real Time Executive Over Competition

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 8, 1998-- Integrated Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:INTS - news) a leading
supplier of embedded software solutions, today announced that its pSOSystem real-time operating system (RTOS) will drive
the market's first network connectivity chip. NET+ARM(tm), produced by Osicom Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:FIBR -
news), integrates networking hardware and software subsystems on a single chip, offering OEMs dramatic savings in cost and
time-to-market. Osicom chose ISI's pSOSystem because of its proven track record in performance, reliability and versatility.

Combining ISI's pSOSystem, Advanced RISC Machines Ltd.'s RISC processor and Atmel Corporation's [Nasdaq:ATML -
news] silicon manufacturing core logic with Osicom's networking and web-enabling software, NET+ARM is a single-chip
solution that integrates all the hardware and software necessary for designing network-enabled products.

While the high cost and complexity of networking has historically been a prohibitive factor for most manufacturers, the new
device will create opportunities for networked innovations. By including Internet and Ethernet protocols, HTTP and FTP
clients and servers, a web browser, mail servers, and a host of drivers and interfaces onto a single chip, the new device will
help OEMs reduce time-to-market by six months and cut unit costs by 50 percent.

''Over the next five years, anything to do with information, control or measurement, such as printers, industrial and building
controls, medical devices, point-of-sale devices, automatic identification products, and other devices will be Ethernet/Internet
connected,'' said Osicom's Embedded Solutions Division president Cornelius ''Pete'' Peterson.

In addition to using ISI's pSOSystem, Osicom will aid designers by offering ISI's pRISM+(tm) Development Tools for ARM
with the NET+ARM technology.

''The pSOSystem has led the industry as a complete, scalable and portable real-time operating system for embedded
applications,'' said David St. Charles, President and CEO, Integrated Systems, Inc. ''Osicom's choice not only validates the
quality, reliability and support ISI has worked so hard to offer, but it also stimulates further development in the pSOSytem line.
In addition, the pRISM+ development environment will give engineers end-to-end control over their new embedded systems
designs.''

Pricing and Availability

NET+ARM, which includes TCP and Internet networking for embedded network applications, is priced at $32.50 in
quantities of 10,000.
