Hello Steve, I just wanted to clarify a couple of points that you are attempting to make here ... You stated: > They stiff their employee's just as they do their shareholders. Could you please explain the details of this? I'm not sure that I have heard anything about the final details of this from any kind of reliable source. I have read rumour and conjecture, but no actual details of how this will effect Novell employees, or Novonyx employees. I can say that as an employee I have not been "stiff"ed in any way that I am aware of. As for Novonyx employees, to the best of my knowledge they are people that chose to leave Novell, or were laid off, or are new hires at Novonyx. No one was forced into this situation that I am aware of. > If I were still in charge of the technical half of a VAR I used to > work for, I would discontinue Novell sales for the small networks > we installed, despite the fact I know their products are better and > I hate MSFT (as it happens the company stopped selling Netware two > years ago). No problem. I'm sure that Microsoft will take good care of you if you do what they say. I'm sure that they will make all the good decisions for you. ;-) > Burn the shareholders, burn the employees, next come the customers. Interesting perspective ... I am a shareholder, and an employee, and I do not feel "burned" in any way. And my shares were purchased at various intervals over the last ten years ... and are the largest part of my portfolio. (I will admit that I wish the stock price was higher, but I'm working with the rest of the employees to try and change that!) And I'm curious, Microsoft is doing what to it's customers? > We know that MSFT will be here in a few years, in one form or > another. I think that Microsoft is realizing that Novell is here ... we did not go away! > sf Scott C. Lemon
