CNN political commentator Van Jones is not happy with the way the midterm elections are going so far.

After a number of key races were called for Republicans, and as Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp led in that state's gubernatorial race, Jones said on CNN that the way the evening is shaking out is "heartbreaking." Jones explained that he hoped that "the antibodies would kick in" and that both parties would turn out to fight the "infestation of hatred and division" in the country. But "that does not seem to be happening tonight," Jones said, also observing that "it's not a blue wave."

Jones added that even if Democrats take the House, as Fox News is now projecting, the "sense of helplessness" that has "fueled a lot of this outrage and outpouring from Democrats" will not go away tomorrow. Watch Jones' comments below. Brendan Morrow

This has to be the most embarrassing win for D's tonight.
