In Montana, Rosendale is trailing by only 1,044 votes with 52% reporting. Still a chance. McSally still leading.

Name recognition in politics is everything. I've resisted believing it for a long time but it's true.

Everyone has heard of Ellison. NOBODY ever heard of the Republican running against him (I've already forgotten his name). The better known name wins every time. Two equally known names will be a 50 50 tie.
