Election results 2018: Pro-Russia Dana Rohrabacher loses Calif. seat

Big deal. Nothing that voters in your Republic of Stupid do at the ballot box surprises me. Maybe your greenie zealots will manage to raise your gas taxes another buck or two a gallon. Or ban it all together and make the hoi polloi buy $100K Teslas..

Meanwhile, up the coast.. I see that OR voters kept their "sanctuary state" intact. They can shuttle the latest invader caravan all the way up to Portland and let them set up shop there. Hope they choke on it, although with a new AG, maybe the Feds will get real on enforcing the fact that illegal actually means illegal.

And here in WA, although the voters had sense enough to defeat the carbon tax (which would have raised the already high gas taxes even further), they managed to pass new gun laws that will be widely ignored by responsible and otherwise law abiding gun owners.

And I gotta laugh at your foaming at the mouth cohorts on this board, sylvia, brumar, tick tock clock boy and the rest, all having a big O at the thought of endless investigations and Trump getting impeached. Trump backing Pelosi as speaker was a smart move. The Dem leadership is just dumb enough to set up a severe backlash in 2020..

Also, I'll be very surprised if another one or two USSC openings don't occur in the next year or two. Poor old RBG is getting well past her expiration date and another opening(s) filled by Trump and the GOP Senate will set the Court's direction for decades to come..

Rohrbacher lost? Time for him to retire to a dacha in Russia.
