We will see how it plays out. It certainly wasn't as bad as it could have it been. Reagan had some bad press but it never stuck. They played him as either stupid or hard hearted. Same thing as POTUS - people loved him. The press was not so blatant and most importantly there were no alternatives other than a few publications like the WSJ.
