Interesting. My guess is if your vote was Dem, then they wouldn't really care if you were eligible or ineligible, because in the new world of Dem politics, it's about power at any cost, even if it destroys our institutions. That process you described is pretty shaky. I would rather have stricter standards, including proof of citizenship. In addition, I'd make it so that Driver's Licenses across all 50 states would have to be only for people who have proved legal status in the US. At some point, we need to have IDs in this country that have integrity. This obfuscation around IDs and voter verification is just a way for Dems to cheat.
