The Pres. already called for 5% cuts. Soc. Sec. and Medicare are NOT entitlements. I paid for them, and my employer matched Soc. Sec.

I think the deficit can be cut if we can grow fast enough and sustain it. I know that you know this stuff far better than I do. When was the last time we grew the economy faster than the govt without it being a temporary bubble? Do you really believe it is possible?
