I'm big on clubhouse camaraderie. Yes, Dez is a great receiver, but is all about himself and will demand the ball. He sucks in all the air around him. Is their enough oxygen to go around?

Well..... the Saints say they fear Dez just tore his Achilles tendon on the last day of practice. So much for that signing.

Dez had been on the decline for several seasons plus the locker room issues mentioned. There was a reason only a few teams looked at Dez after the Cowboys released him. Michael Thomas is a very talented receiver. The Dez signing by Saints imo was a desperate move to add some depth since recently losing Ted Ginn and Cameron Meredith to injured reserve. Rookie receiver Tre'Quan Smith should get more time but it's too soon to guess how productive he could be.

It's a moot point now, Dez likely tore his ACL in practice today.
