That's a great background. If I had to do it all over again, I'd become an Engineer. I worked in the tech industry most of my career and loved hanging out with all the engineers. Math has a way of shaping the way people think. Of course, math was always my favorite subject. There are right answers, unlike in most other subjects, like economics, which in many ways is a pseudo science, where you can make any opinion look right, even though it has no bearing in the real world. Speaking of which, if I go on a tangent here, look at liberal economics. It doesn't work and yet everyone is convinced it does. I wish more people would look at the difference between Californian economics and Texas economics and draw the inevitable conclusion that the economics of the liberals just doesn't work in the real world.
