One interesting trend that leads to lower NAND flash demand is that sales of lower priced digital cameras are also down because more people are simply using the improved cameras in their smartphones. This has been true for years, and is insignificant to flash demand with respect to current bits sold. In any event, there is NOT lower flash demand. Demand continues to rise, supply currently exceeds demand. Oversupply DOES NOT mean lower demand.
