I am going to start a new thread on CGIX today. Look for it later tonight (your time). I will try to put every relevant thing I can get my hands on there over the first few posts so that anyone looking can easily get the basic information quickly.

Positive/Negative/Questions

Am relatively new to this field but I do know a friend that is a programer and who work for someone on projects. Did a little bit of reasearch and came up with these conclusions.

Positives
Help Wanted-Many positions need to be filled=Maybe Growth

Established Nationally which can be more promising to larger companies.

Suppose to have special technology/templates
Negatives
Low cost of entry into programming field although bigger companies would probably want bigger more established companies.

2 quarters of mssing expectations.(Reason for low stock price)

Heavy Reliance of government contracts(Reason for 4th quarter loss)

Questions
Will the funding gaps on government contracts continue into the future?

John
Anyone have anything else to add???

Thanks for the web site. For some unexplained reason I had assumed that there was not one. I'll be sure to check it out.

Re:Cash Pile:
It could quickly disappear if things don't go well with business, so?

It's the lack of growth (earnings) that concerns people (IMO)
And rightly so, but should CGI land a few more good contracts, then earnings could easily double. There are ample indicators that CGI is quie capable of doing that. what would it take? I could not answer this today...
