My child bride is 48...runs marathons...looks and acts like she's in her mid thirties (tops) and was a Tom boy growing up <good sense of humor..great laugher)

Thanks for the Birthday wish. After lunch there was a card on my desk to be filled out for another person with a January birthday...it never dawned on me mine is this month too..mmmmm cyber world....ahhhh

We have two grown sons (Kurt=22 and Nathan=20) we couldn't be more pleased.

She picked out a Mercury Sable..she also liked a Honda..but the Mercury gave a better ride, was more attractive and about $2,000.00 less (it was still all her decision.) She did say she was going to get a white car (1st choice) and that champagne would probably be one of her last picks (mine is champagne..didn't want two of the same.) Guess what color her car is...heh,heh,heh

Personality Test? That implies I have to have one...doesn't it? Sure I'll take it...where's it at?

I appreciate your maternal instincts...I'm not near as bad as I use to be..BTW..did you see a news release several weeks ago about a truly portable computer. If I recall correctly the unit was small enough you could wear it and I think it had a visor-like appliance that you could interact with as you walked around (If your a Trekie..
almost like a "Borg.")

So what are the thoughts on this thread about the local governments watching out for us by stopping people from smoking in a bar (CA) or adults from smoking in their cars (Boulder, CO.) I'm not pro or anti smoking...but I am getting a little concerned about having a big brother who keeps hitting me up for money and then decides how "we're" going to spend it without consulting me. Don't you think if there was a strong market for non-smoking bars they'd be all over the country like mushrooms? As for protecting the children..I agree (to a certain extent on smoking in most situations). I'd prefer we started with drug pushers, pedifiles (sp?) and child abusers.

Time for me to climb off my soap box...don't know how I even got up there to start with.

Later all...
