Steve:
I think it is doing great. We had a rise to new high and it did not retreat significantly. Right now it is being slowly accumulated. Probably those big money guys on SI. I think you will see it get through 34 then backoff to where it is now. The next time it goes through 34, it will be with volume and ease up to 38 and rest.

BTW my 2:20 PM call for 35 was PST :-) Plenty time for capitals Steve.

<..we got the Vogel report. What's left? Do we have any more short term powder left?..>

Expect more from Vogel next week. Don't know if it'll do any more to the price though. It's in front of a lot of folks though now. Grubman is largely unknown to the SB side of the sales force, so as more tune in and look for ideas, and telecom news and M&A continues, I expect WCII will move in starts. I doubt we'll see the 20s again, without a major correction, and then IMO, we'll have some more buying op.

<..Getting pretty over bought also...>

No doubt fast money is here, but patient funds (as pknkwk suggested) will likely continue to lend support.

<..Maybe a good time now to write those covered calls now?..>

IMO, with the potential volatility of telecom in general, and with WCII somewhat front and center, I'd be pissed to get called out on a sustained spike or buyout offer (accepted or not).

Steve,

I believe a little pause around here would be healthy in the long run. We broke to new highs on record weekly volume. If you were to ask Robet, Lizard or any of the other TA guys I'm sure they would tell you volume leads price and technically this stock is looking very strong.

I wouldn't place too much credence in Calzada's upgrade. Although he was correct in predicting the 87 crash don't forget that both Soundview and Merrill were forced to let him go in the early 90's when he persisted in getting his clients in at the lows and out at the highs.

To all, this was posted on the Cellular Vision thread. It talks about
the minimum bid requirements for the upcoming Feb 18 auction for LMDS spectrum. I think this may be one "event" that is coming up that could impact WCII's price, although still a month away. There is still a good chance this auction could be delayed.
