Frank, Have held this stock for some time. Actually got out with small loss at time of Corning but goofed and started buying back in and averaging down. Have taken big hit on this one but haven't sold. Did well on CDT last year and thought this would also do well. Hear a lot about demand for fibre optic lately (QWST for example) but there seems to be little attention directed at this stock. Wish I could be more encouraging. Will continue to hold. Bill

Some of the problem Frank, acording to financial 'experts', and observation is that small caps are in the doldrums, taking a back seat to big caps untill the investor feels more comfortable with the investment environment in general. SPTR specifically - looks like crap - but so have many others. My problem is that so many small companys put out hype, talk the talk, but don't deliver. SOOO I don't have a clue. Maybe thats why i'm mostly in the big caps However, holding 200 sptr @ 16 + Bob
