I bought SVV for their oil play too. But what a bonus that the company can also benefit from it's silver property. One liners on an internet thread cannot tell the direction that a company is going in. My understanding on the oil side is that the Linda prospect has been AFE'd by the operators and some final verification is being sought by the company but all looks very positive on this prospect. I have worked out that for junior companies progress invarably is slower than one would originally expect although they do get there in the end, and invarably they have done far more due diligence on a prospect than the majors do as the juniors have more on the line. This is why we buy them- for the potential upside. I have not lost faith unlike many others judging by the share price. I regard these very low levels as a great opportunity to increase my position.

regards.

The effect of El Nino has given a large kicking to oil and gas companies all across the board.
This makes it harder to raise exploration money for drilling for oil,
that is understandable.

I agree with D.R., this is a real bonus to have an interest in a silver property at a time when silver is looking promising.

Silver has been on a downward slide ever since the Hunt brothers
tried to corner the market, driving it up to about $50.00
in 1988 I believe it was.

This project has been mothballed since then, but now looks like it could be very profitable according to the company.

As they say, diversification is the key to successful investing.
