So I wasn't the only one who thought having an emoji that tracked my mood was worth paying $1,000 or more for a new phone?

FWIW, I'm probably going to upgrade my GF's Galaxy S5 to an S8+ using Amazon so we'll have the same phone, well I have the regular S8. amzn.to Hers still works great but it becomes a bitch to deal with only 8G of storage for applications. I had to upgrade last year when the batter swelled and delaminated my S5. I don't see any reason to pay for for an S9 or over priced Apple phones.

I'd take a look at Google Pixel phones but we get a great Senior plan at T-Mobile (2 unlimited lines for $60) that doesn't support Pixel and Project Fi.
