As I get older and more housebound Internet shopping is going to be a bigger part of my activity. Add in $3.89 a gallon for gas and it adds up. In my case I am getting a free ride on Prime at Amazon because I split TV/net with my daughter and she is a big user of their movie channel and had Prime when I moved in.

Look at Zappos for shoes. It’s owned by Amazon, but you get free shipping above a certain threshold. Another alternative is shoes.com.

Be patient and wait the few more days for free delivery.

I do it for all buys....

and I know it pisses Amazon off to think I am in no rush for their products.
