Janski,
I think most of the ANCR longs developed a risk/reward ratio that they are comfortable with. See Iceburgs investment style if you want to get dizzy but he is obviously comfortable with that. I think many of the longs have shifted their risk/reward and some valuable contributors have dissappeared from the board or gone into lurk mode as they stated they no longer like the risk/reward. I always saw ANCR as a speculative and if I lose on it I'll say good-bye to the board, explain why I know longer think ANCR's risk reward is to my liking, moan for a second about the woulda, shoulda ,and coulda's, maybe kick myself and move on.
Your constant whining about your Ancor investment, should be directed at yourself. You made the buy in a company that you say is similar to investing in the lottery and I agree with you, it has been a risky investment.
Also when you start complaining about the 1M for the 4th quarter, you can look at it 2 ways. The price has already been discounted or it will get pummeled when it is re-announced. So you can look at recent history .Third quarter ANCR has record revs but tanks on CEO commenting about 4th quarter shortfall. 2nd quarter was an awful quarter in terms of revs and EPS. However ANCR rises the next 3 months in anticipation of a record 3rd quarter. Not to say ANCR won't get pelted at the conference cal, but we don't really know what they are going to announce.
