First of all, you are cherry picking. The average is more of an apples to apples comparison. Trump's average is almost a full percentage point higher. Second, Obama increased the national debt by almost $12 Trillion including countless trillions spent on propping up the economy and his economic growth record was abysmal despite that. You know why? Because socialism doesn't work. What does work is letting the people keep more of their money and letting the people decide where to spend it and where to invest it for the greatest return. We call that capitalism. Capitalism always has better results than socialism in the long run for maximizing economic growth and lifting people out of poverty. We are already seeing how the markets and economy are reacting to the influx of socialists into the house. It's already having a chilling effect.
