MacArthur Loses His Seat Political Wire by Taegan Goddard Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-NJ) lost his seat to Democratic challenger Andy Kim, resulting in a near-wipeout for the GOP in the state, The Hill reports. “With MacArthur’s loss, Democrats successfully flipped four Republican seats in New Jersey in the midterm elections this year, some of which had been held by the GOP for decades.”

It is absolutely amazing how completely out of touch with reality trump is. Where does he come up with a remark like that...from thin air?? They were very thorough at checking my ID when I voted. Over the years I have shortened my signature for convenience for everything except legal documents. I forgot to use my official siggy when I signed in on the Ipad before voting and the woman caught it immediately and asked me to re-sign like I did on my drivers license. I did, she reviewed it and then I was able to proceed to voting. Nobody would have been able to do what trump suggested in my district. Simply putting on a different hat and shirt would get you nowhere. BTW.....I really appreciate all of the Taegan Goddard clips that you post every day. It is an excellent snapshot as to what is going on in our country and world. Thanks for your effort!!!!
