In that so many people have so many ideas about what is right and wrong. I think we should change tax laws where some social stuff is optional taxation. If you do not believe in it you can not pay for it with tax deductions or credits. I do no believe in subsidizing solar power or wind power. I do not believe in obamination care. I do not believe in spending even 2 cents on services to illegal aliens. And a federal tax should be levied on all who live in sanctuary cities. Citizens of said cities can declare no thanks, but elected and appointed officials cannot.

Some things are common sense good and all must pay their fair share.

I do not believe in paying for the murder of 60+ million unborn children.

Currently at 700k per annum.

BC,
Given that fossil fuel is required to make anything technological in the renewable realm, how is that possible?
It'll be possible because in that scenario, renewable energy won't completely replace fossil fuels, but instead will reduce the demand thereof.

Of course, what will really happen is that fossil fuel prices will drop until it meets one of two levels:

1) The price of comparable renewable energy.

2) The cost of digging up said fossil fuels.

#1 will ensure that fossil fuel prices will stay on par with renewable energy prices.

#2 is the real floor to consider, but we're a long way off from that.

Either way, the complexities of energy prices can all be sorted out by the free market. Technology will enable that.
