Epicure I am with you, I agree. It is impossible to convince the right wing rank and file of anything. But we have them on the run and the women and kids and minorities will never go to the Republican party now, I think the Democrats will win the whole thing in 2020 and usher in a new era of human decency. I went to a Safeway next to a high school and watched the kids coming in. Every race creed and color hanging on each other and laughing. In their world racism, homophobia, etc is dead. All the Republicans have left are a bunch of old white guys named Billy Bob and they are not in good health-lol. <,There are large states that lean blue- and ARE liberal- and then there are knuckle dragging backwaters full of stupidity and racism- and I'm sorry, there is no program in the world that will bring those racists together with blue state ultra liberals to all sing kumbaya and drink tea together. That's a pipe dream of the highest order

sometime I think Lincoln should have let the southern states secede, there would have been a free north and a slave south, The south would have suffered as lots of slaves would have escaped and the south would have been a pariah to the rest of the world, it took more than a hundred years after the civil war for the Blacks to have the same rights as most other Americans, look what we have now, racism passed on for generations, idiots running around with confederate flags, total fuckwads voting for chump.
