Here's an excerpt from a Reuters blip about today's Nasdaq performance:

>>Lingering concern over Asia's economic turmoil, however,
kept investors away from thinly traded small-capitalization
issues, generally viewed as more risky than their high-volume,
large-cap bretheren.
"They (investors) want to feel they can get in and get
out," one trader said. "So they're staying away from
small-caps."<<

That's very amusing. The "investors" want to get in and get out. Gee, that sounds a lot more like trading than investing. And according to the indices, "investors" didn't stay away from small caps, as the Russell 2000 rose 1.05%, but the Nasdaq Comp. rose only 1.01%.

Just my perspective.
