Well, I'm a looooong teerrrmmm investor now!!!

I wonder if these weasels are trying to pick up shares on the cheap...using the ol' downgrade to 'SELL' (TO ME) technique as opposed to the usual upgrade to 'BUY' (FROM ME) routine.

Those dirty dogs...

Of course, they could know something we don't......yet!

I listened to the CC and what I heard makes me think the VLSI management is confidenent that the plan is on track and 1998 will see better numbers than 1997. 1999 could be a payoff year altough the analysts seemed to focus on next quarter. VLSI remains cautious, since Asia is unknown since the end users are Ericsson and the likes. For 1998 VLSI seems to be solid in the $1.80 range. At these multiples that is a buy not a hold. What have these analysts been smoking. Maybe just trying to get the trading revenues up? Who knows?

Hi JB,

Remember my Motto:

"Buy from the Scared and Sell to the Greedy!"

My next buy is under $19 if this sillyness continues.

Best regards, Tom
