And there is an obvious unspoken reason for that.

Great story by John Harwood which addresses our political divide pretty well.
Democrats are getting elected in parts of the country that prosper, Republicans in economically-
distressed areas. Largely urban/rural. It's not just the Rustbelt , it is much of Rural/Small town
America. If we don't fix this at some point, I believe we are going to limp along in much the way
we've been doing.
